Dr. Brady Nielsen

Dr. Nielsen completed his undergraduate studies at Brigham Young University where he earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology. He then went on to earn his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from UCLA School of Dentistry. After dental school, he completed his Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery training at Los Angeles County + USC Medical Center. During his residency training, Dr. Nielsen performed surgeries at LAC+USC Medical Center, Keck Hospital of USC, and Children’s Hospital Los Angeles. He also practiced in the Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery clinic at Herman Ostrow School of Dentistry of USC. Since completing his training in 2015, Dr. Nielsen has been practicing oral and maxillofacial surgery in Southern California. He enjoys dental implant surgery and orthognathic surgery to reposition the jaw bones. He is also experienced in wisdom teeth removal and facial trauma surgery. Dr. Nielsen is on the medical staff at Mission Hospital and Saddleback Medical Center. He has lectured at both local and national meetings, and has several publications in the oral surgery literature focusing on implant dentistry. Dr. Nielsen is board certified by the American Board of Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery. He maintains his membership as a fellow in the American Association of Oral & Maxillofacial Surgeons, California Association of Oral & Maxillofacial Surgeons, American Dental Association, California Dental Association, American Dental Society of Anesthesiology and the Orange County Dental Society. He and his wife, Melissa, live in San Clemente with their four children. In his free time, he enjoys spending time with his family, playing sports, and being active outdoors.
